History
Tollefson Design has a long history in the Graphic Arts and Advertising world. As a family business of 3 generations, we have used the Tollefson name for over 70 years. First generation, Ray Tollefson, logged 64 years as a well known commercial artist. He formed what became the largest Commercial Art Studio Minneapolis would ever see ~ Artists Incorporated. He was also the original artist for the Hamm’s Bear.
Second generation, my Father, also a commercial artist, specializes in Marketing & Communications. The web offers Tollefson Design, the third generation of Tollefson’s, a perfect marketing medium for the 21st century. Alan Tollefson recalls the day when “nearly all web sites were text only, and when someone had an image on their web site, it was a huge deal. Today, there is no limit to the things we can do.”
Tollefson Design started with a traditional background - all pen & paper - establishing solid artistic skills. After years of experience, we made the transition thru Desktop Publishing, CD-ROM development, to Web Site Development.
What We Offer:
Our goal has been to make design the primary focus of our business, be it graphical or technical. To achieve that goal, we provide a variety of support services, including Design Consultation, Strategic Planning, Production & Implementation, and Technical Support. As a general rule, design must communicate. We achieve that goal by working closely with our clients because they know their business better than anyone.
